CARDMEMBER AGREEMENT
(Terms and Conditions for slice Credit Card)
This Cardmember Agreement along with Mobile Banking Terms, any other agreements, annexures, exhibits, most important terms and conditions or any additional service terms (“Cardmember Agreement” or “Agreement”) are applicable to you ("you" or "Customer", “Cardmember”, “Cardholder”), when you decide to avail the Credit Card (“slice Credit Card”) of slice small finance bank limited (erstwhile known as North East Small Finance Bank Limited) (the “Bank”, “slice”, “we”, “us”) either through any digital platform (including the slice mobile application) operated by the bank or through any authorized third-party application. ("Digital Portal").
The use of slice Credit Card shall be governed by this Cardmember Agreement as amended by the Bank from time to time along with the Most Important Terms and Conditions (“MITC”) and any additional terms and conditions issued by the Bank.
You hereby agree in your digital application form, that the use of the slice Credit Card shall be governed by this Cardmember Agreement, and as amended by the Bank from time to time. You have further agreed that MITC and any other terms and conditions issued by the Bank shall be read as part and parcel of this agreement.
By consenting to avail slice Credit Card, you are deemed to have unconditionally accepted the terms of this Cardmember Agreement and the Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC). Upon such acceptance, this agreement shall be deemed effective and binding on you and any add-on Cardmember(s).
By activating or using the enclosed slice Credit Card, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions governing its use. These terms form a binding agreement between you and the Bank. Your first use of the card—including signing the back or completing a transaction—will be treated as your full and unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions.
If you do not agree with these Credit Card terms, please do not register or avail slice Credit Card. This Cardmember Agreement incorporates the Privacy Policy of the Bank (including any updates and amendments) available here by reference.
If this Cardmember Agreement is not acceptable to you, please inform us in writing, and destroy the physical slice Credit Card cutting it into several pieces across the magnetic stripe, EMV Chip and hologram, and return the same to us within 10 calendar days of receipt of the slice Credit Card.
The headings contained in this Cardmember Agreement are for reference purposes only.
Definitions
In these terms, the following words and phrases will have the meaning stated hereunder unless indicated otherwise:
- “Applicant" refers to an individual who submits a formal request to the Bank for availing the slice Credit Card, subject to the eligibility criteria provided in this Cardmember Agreement along with Bank policies and procedures.
- “Annual Percentage Rate” or “APR” is the annual cost of credit to the Cardholder which includes Interest rate and all other Charges associated with the Credit Card under different scenarios based on card features.
- “Billing Cycle” or “Billing Period” is the regular length of time between closing dates of two consecutive bills raised by the Bank.
- “Credit Card”, or “slice Credit Card”, or “Card”, or “Card Account”, or “Card Number” is a physical or virtual payment instrument containing a means of identification, issued with a pre-approved revolving Credit Limit, that can be used to purchase goods and services or draw Cash Advances, subject to prescribed terms and conditions. “card" denotes all types of cards irrespective of the form factor, i.e. - physical card, virtual/digital card or any other form factor as prescribed under applicable laws.
- “Credit Limit” is the maximum amount of revolving credit determined and notified to the Cardholder to transact in the Card Account at any point in time. Such Credit Limit shall be used only for domestic transaction.
- “Charges” shall mean amounts debited to the Card Account towards transactions made using the slice Credit Card (regardless of whether the Cardmember signs the charge slips or not) and/ or charged to the Card Account towards any fee payable to the Bank in accordance with terms this agreement. This would include but not be limited to the payments made towards the purchase of goods/ services using Credit Card or the cash withdrawals made from the Card Account using the slice Credit Card or Card Number, joining fee, annual fees, Finance Charges, late payment fee, service Charges, GST and any other fee/Charges/ amounts which the Cardmember has agreed to pay or is liable to pay to the Bank under this Cardholder agreement.
- “Cash Limit” or “Cash Advances” means the amount of cash or cash equivalent that the Cardmember may be allowed to withdraw cash from the ATMs in India or transfer the same to their own Bank account. Certain ATMs will levy withdrawal Charges, which are not linked to the Bank. The Cardmember shall be liable to pay cash advance fee and Finance Charges as stated in the MITC for Cash Advances.
- “Card Loyalty” or “Reward Programme/s” are those schemes linked to a slice Credit Card whereby the Bank or associated Merchant Establishments, upon use of the slice Credit Card/s, offer digital coupons, points, discounts, cash backs or other benefits having monetary value that can be used/redeemed for the same transactions or other future transactions after accumulation.
- “Domestic Transactions” or “Domestic Usage” - Transactions using the slice Credit Card originating in India at Merchant outlets, ATM or online transactions.
- “Interest-Free Credit Period” is the time period from the date of transaction to the due date of payment, wherein Interest free payment can be made, subject to the payment of entire outstanding on or before the Payment Due Date by the Cardholder.
- “EMI” or “Equated Monthly Instalment” means the equated monthly installment of the amounts payable by the Cardmember to the Bank in respect of the slice Credit Card, comprising of principal amount and Interest thereon.
- "Electronic Terminal" means any device such as a swipe machine, POS terminal or other interface that is approved by slice small finance Bank where the Credit Card, with or without PIN, can be used to complete a transaction as described in these terms.
- "EMV PIN", "PIN" or "Personal Identification Number" means the number assigned by the Bank or set by the Cardmember from time to time, used to authorize transactions on the Credit Card.
- “Facility” or “slicing Facility” means choosing to pay for retail transactions made on slice Credit Card in instalments and is provided/ agreed to be provided by the Bank, at its sole discretion, to the Cardholder to the extent of amounts not exceeding the available Credit Limit
- “Finance Charges” or “Interest” shall mean and include the Interest charged on Total Outstanding Amount in the Card Account as provided in this agreement.
- “Merchant Establishment” shall mean any company, corporation, establishment, firm, association, individual or any such entity, wherever located, which provide goods and/or services by accepting the use of the slice Credit Card.
- "Merchant” means any person who owns or manages or operates the Merchant Establishment, its successors and permitted assigns.
- “Minimum Amount Due” is the minimum amount as a part of the total bill amount, that a Cardholder has to pay to not be treated as an overdue bill.
- “Most Important Terms and Conditions” or “MITC” are the standard set of conditions for the issuance and usage of slice Credit Card, thereby defining the responsibilities and liabilities of the Bank and the Cardholder.
- “Payment Due Date” shall mean the date on or before which the Cardmember has to make the payment of any Total Outstanding Amount, Charges, Interest under the slice Credit Card, to the Bank.
- “Person” means any individual, corporation, firm, company, institution, or any natural or legal person.
- "RBI" means the Reserve Bank of India.
- “Statement of Account” will mean the slice Credit Card statement sent by the Bank to the Cardmember at periodic intervals indicating the payments credited, the transactions debited to the Cardmember’s Card Account and Charges as applicable along with payment required by the Payment Due Date as applicable.
- “Total Outstanding Amount” shall mean the Total Outstanding Amounts due to the Bank in the Card Account, including, but not limited to transaction amounts, Interests, Charges, fees and any other amounts that may be payable to the Bank from time to time in a Billing Cycle.
Eligibility criteria:
- Only customers who have successfully on-boarded on to the digital savings account of the Bank, upon completion of proper KYC and due diligence processes shall be eligible to opt for the slice Credit Card.
- Applicant should be an Indian citizen and resident of India;
- Applicant should be 18 years and above.
- Applicant should be physically present in India at time of digital application and/or video-KYC.
- Applicant should not be a Politically Exposed Person (PEP) as defined by the RBI under the KYC Framework.
- Applicant’s mobile number should be linked with Aadhaar number of the Applicant (only applicable in case of accounts opened using OTP based Aadhaar e-KYC authentication)
- The Bank may, in its sole discretion, impose any other qualification or eligibility criteria as it may deem fit for the Bank.
slice Credit Card
In relation to your slice Credit Card, the Bank shall provide you with the following functionalities and services through the Digital Portal:
- A digital-first experience designed to minimize paperwork and eliminate the need for branch visits.
- Facilitation of the slice Credit Card issuance upon receipt of a duly completed request or application from the Applicant via the Digital Portal.
- A fully digital application process ensuring convenience, security, and efficiency.
- Access to Rewards and benefits as detailed in the applicable terms and conditions outlined below.
- Virtual slice Credit Card for immediate use, enabling online and contactless transactions prior to receipt of the physical card.
- Flexible repayment modes, including but not limited to UPI, NEFT, IMPS, auto-debit facilities etc.
- Real-time transaction alerts, customizable spending limits, comprehensive spend analytics, and budgeting tools, all integrated within the Digital Portal and supported by in-app customer service.
- Provision of customer support services related to your Credit Card, including the ability to raise grievances, complaints, or provide feedback regarding any aspect of the slice Credit Card Account.
- Delivery of ancillary and support services as necessary to facilitate your use and enjoyment of the slice Credit Card.
- During your registration, for the purpose of creating and enabling the use of slice Credit Card by you, Bank may collect, process, seek and share information about you with third parties in accordance with its KYC policy and Privacy Policy, for undertaking customer identification procedures and customer due diligence and verification, in accordance with KYC Framework ("KYC Process").
- Bank may offer you a slice Credit Card on the Digital Portal in the form of a virtual card and give you the option to request a physical Credit Card, which shall be issued and delivered by the Bank at your registered address. The physical Credit Card may take up to 7-10 working days to be delivered, though this timeline may be subject to additional unforeseen delays.
- You may use this Credit Card to make payments at Merchants.
You may disable this Credit Card at any time, through the Digital Portal. You may use your Credit Card to spend within the Credit Limit. You cannot sell or transfer the Credit Card. Bank may cancel, repossess, or revoke your Credit Card (at any time without prior notice) subject to applicable laws. Bank may also refuse to process any transaction which it believes may violate this agreement or any other terms and conditions issued by the Bank. Your usage of the slice Credit Card shall be governed by agreement, MITC, Privacy Policy and applicable law. You are given an option to block your Credit Card on the Digital Portal. You understand and agree that the Bank reserves the right to block your Credit Card in case of any fraudulent activity, suspicious transactions, etc. You understand that the slice Credit Card cannot be claimed as a matter of right. Bank may at its discretion decide to discontinue or stop issuing Credit Cards.
KYC Process
In compliance with the KYC Framework, undergoing KYC Process is mandatory in order to avail any Banking product. Bank will conduct KYC Process through prescribed mechanisms under the KYC Framework and in accordance with its internal KYC policy, which may include obtaining information and validation of your identity through services offered by third party authorised service providers such as National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), DigiLocker, Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCR), Central Identities Data Repository, Credit Information Companies (CIC) and the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). You will be required to accept the terms and conditions of such third-party service providers whom you authorise to share your information, including information relating to the KYC Process, with the Bank. You provide your express consent to the Bank to undertake the KYC Process for SA Services. KYC can be done by the Bank in the following ways in accordance with KYC Framework and KYC Policy:
- Provide your Permanent Account Number ("PAN") – You have to enter or confirm your PAN details which may be fetched from CICs.
- Fetching identification information - You will be asked to complete your KYC either through offline verification of Aadhaar or through e-KYC authentication of Aadhaar or by enabling us to obtain your details from the CKYCR or DigiLocker. You hereby authorise the Bank to verify/check/obtain/download your KYC details from the CKYCR as and when required for the purpose of KYC verification; (i) by verifying such details through CKYC number (i.e., KYC identifier number-KIN) provided by you or (ii) by obtaining such CKYC number/KIN, through details made available by you. You also consent to receive information from CKYCR or DigiLocker through SMS/e-Mail on the herein mentioned mobile number/e-Mail Id in this regard. You further consent that the Bank shall update your KYC details on to CKYCR and this might entail downloading your details from CKYCR once again.
- Employment and income details: You will be required to provide your employment and income details for setting up slice Credit Card on the Digital Portal. Further you explicitly agree and acknowledge that your relevant financial information will be sought from the account Aggregator ecosystem.
- Current address: You will be required to verify your current address for completion of your KYC verification.
- Bank account verification: In case of non-face to face KYC, in order to activate your Savings account, the first transaction should be a credit to your Savings account from your KYC complied Bank account; or
- Video KYC: You will be required to complete the video KYC as prescribed under the KYC Policy and KYC Framework. You agree and acknowledge that, you will provide all necessary permissions and consents for the purpose of carrying out video KYC with Bank.
- Accounts opened through OTP Based E-KYC Authentication from UIDAI)- The Customer understands and agrees that being a limited KYC account, the operations of the account shall be limited. The Customer should complete the full KYC confirming to the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India within 1 year from the date of opening of digital saving account. The Customer herewith confirms that they have not opened any account/deposit through Aadhaar-OTP e-KYC verification in any other Bank and they will not open any other account through Aadhaar-OTP e-KYC verification in any other Bank. The Bank may undertake the said KYC Process in such other manner as it deems fit provided it is in accordance with KYC Framework and KYC policy. Post the submission and successful verification of the information and the documents containing the information submitted by you, your Savings account may be opened at the discretion of the Bank, subject to review of your information and completion of the KYC Process as per KYC Framework and KYC policy.
- You authorise the Bank to fetch your demographic/KYC details directly from UIDAI, including through DigiLocker. You have no objection in authenticating yourself with Aadhaar based authentication system and voluntarily consent to providing your KYC details. You understand that the foregoing mechanism shall be used only for authenticating your identity through the Aadhaar authentication system for that specific transaction and for no other purposes, unless permitted under applicable laws. In this regard, you agree to furnish your Aadhaar number and voluntarily give your express consent to:
- Use your Aadhaar details and authenticate yourself through Aadhaar based authentication system for the purpose of establishing your identity.
- Link the Aadhaar Number to all your existing/new/future accounts and customer profile (CIF) with the Bank.
- You authorize the Bank to share your Aadhaar related information with regulatory and statutory bodies, as required under applicable laws. Notwithstanding anything mentioned under these terms, Banks shall store and process customer’s KYC information including but not limited to Aadhaar details in accordance with applicable laws.
OTP based Aadhaar e-KYC authentication

- You agree and acknowledge that for the Savings account opened in non-face-to-face mode i.e., through OTP based Aadhaar e-KYC authentication, the aggregate balance of all your deposit accounts shall not exceed INR one (1) lakh. You further understand and agree that the aggregate of all credits in a financial year, in all your accounts taken together, shall not exceed INR two (2) lakh.
- You understand that the Savings account opened using OTP based e-KYC shall not be allowed for more than one year unless identification as per section 16 or section 18 (Video KYC) of RBI Master Direction - Know Your Customer (KYC) Direction, 2016 updated from time to time is completed. You agree and acknowledge that the Bank reserves the right to close the Savings account opened through OTP based e-KYC immediately if the aforementioned limits of INR one (1) lakh and INR two (2) lakh are breached.
- You hereby declare that you have not opened any other account, nor will you open using OTP based e-KYC in non-face-to-face mode with any other Banks.
- You authorise the Bank while uploading KYC information to CKYCR, to indicate that your Savings account is opened using OTP based e-KYC and other Banks shall not open accounts based on such the KYC information.
- You authorise the Bank to strictly monitor aforesaid procedures including systems to generate alerts in case of any non-compliance/violation, to ensure compliance with the above-mentioned conditions.
Video based KYC

- Video KYC process is available only for Customers who are physically present in India and if the same can be confirmed through their live location through geo- tagging and shall be accessible only during the working hours defined by the Bank.
- Video KYC process shall work only in good network/internet conditions and customer should possess requisite documents and materials as informed on the journey page at the time of the video KYC process to avoid any inconvenience.
- On opting for video KYC process, a two-way video call will be initiated between the Customer and the Bank’s official to start the video KYC process. As a part of video KYC process, the Customer shall be required to verify their identity by answering certain questions asked by Bank’s officials through the video call.
- The Customer shall be required to co-operate with the Bank’s officials in every manner and provide all such relevant information/data/documents including but not limited to allowing Bank’s officials to capture their photographs or screenshots of various documents including but not limited to Officially Valid Documents (“OVD”), PAN, etc.
- The Customer agrees and consents to co-operate and provide all such relevant data/documents, etc. for the purpose of video KYC process.
- The Customer authorizes the Bank to collect/store/verify/process any and all information/details received through the video KYC process including but not limited to the video call itself, information received from documents/information captured/shared through the video call.
- In case the documents shown and verified by the Bank’s officials over a video call do not comply with the Bank policy and/or relevant guidelines due to any reason whatsoever, the application request shall be rejected.
- Customers who have opted for video KYC process for slice Credit Card agree that their request is subject to verification and may be rejected by the Bank for various reasons including, but not limited to:
- Call drop due to network/internet issues at the Customer’s or the Bank’s end or
- Documents matching criteria is not fulfilled or
- Bank official is unable to capture the screenshot of customer’s photo or any document or
- Customer is not ready to co-operate with Bank officials or
- Location of customer is outside India or
- face mismatch or
- poor quality uploaded documents or
- For any other reason at the discretion of the Bank.
- The Customer understands that the video KYC process is subject to the availability of Bank officials to conduct such video KYC.
- Politically Exposed Persons
- By continuing usage of the slice Credit Card Facility, you hereby represent that you are not a Politically Exposed Person (PEP) as defined by the RBI. PEPs are individuals who are or have been entrusted with prominent public functions by a foreign country, including the Heads of States/Governments, senior politicians, senior government or judicial or military officers, senior executives of state-owned corporations and important political party officials.
- You agree and undertake to immediately notify us in circumstances where your PEP status changes, or you become related to a PEP. You should promptly notify us in writing to ensure that appropriate steps are taken in accordance with Applicable Law and our policy. You further understand that as a PEP you will be subject to additional customer due diligence requirements as determined by the regulators and as per our KYC Policy. As a PEP you hereby agree to fully comply with all the aforesaid additional customer due diligence requirements as well as cooperate with us to complete all continuing compliance requirements applicable to a PEP as will be notified to you by us to ensure uninterrupted use of the Savings account.
Credit investigation and reporting
- You explicitly consent and authorize the Bank as your authorised representative to receive or obtain your credit information report, including credit Score ("Credit information") from: (i) CRIF High Mark credit information Services Pvt Ltd. ("CRIF High Mark"), (ii) TransUnion CIBIL Limited ("TransUnion"), (iii) Experian Credit Information Company of India Private Limited (iv) Equifax credit information Services Private Limited, and (v) such other credit information company, as the Bank determines, in accordance with the applicable laws.
- The credit information shall be used only for the purpose of providing slice Credit Card services by the Bank and we shall not aggregate, retain, store, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, sell or rent the credit information to any other person and the same cannot be copied or reproduced other than as agreed herein and in furtherance to Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005 read with the Credit Information Companies Rules, 2006 and the Credit Information Companies Regulations, 2006, including any other rules and regulations prescribed thereunder.
- The Bank shall report the slice Credit Card Account as 'past due' to Credit Information Companies (“CICs”) or levy penal Charges, including late payment fees and other related Charges, only if the slice Credit Card Account remains past due for more than three (3) days from the Payment Due Date.
- You unconditionally consent, authorise and instruct the Credit Information Companies to provide your credit information to the Bank, as and when requested by the Bank from time to time.
- You also acknowledge and agree that you will not raise any claim or hold the Credit Information Companies or the Bank liable in relation to your credit information.
- You understand that you have the option to opt-out from the foregoing in relation to the Bank seeking your credit information. However, if you opt-out, the Bank may not be able to sanction / issue the slice Credit Card.
- You also agree to the CRIF High Mark terms and conditions, TransUnion terms and conditions, terms and conditions provided by Experian Credit Information Company of India Private Limited and Equifax credit information Services Private Limited as may be modified from time to time
Verification
- Upon submission of all relevant KYC information and credit information, Bank will make a verification, assessment and examination of the information and documents. The Bank may undertake the verification in any manner it deems fit, provided it is in accordance with its board approved underwriting parameters, KYC Framework and applicable laws.
- Bank reserve the sole right and discretion to modify the process and mechanism of the verification, assessment and examination of the information and documents, including for the purposes of KYC verification or underwriting, without any notice or liability to you.
- The Bank may place your application on a waitlist. While on the waitlist, you may be eligible to avail other digital loan products offered by the Bank through the Digital Portal subject to Bank’s internal policy and applicable laws.
- The Bank will notify you of your application status and provide information on the other available loan products during the waitlist period.
- The Bank reserves the right to request additional documentation as deemed necessary for compliance with regulatory requirements or internal due diligence policies.
Card Issuance:
- The slice Credit Card shall be issued by the Bank only upon obtaining the Cardmember’s explicit consent on the Digital Portal and subject to the eligibility criteria and the application shall be processed within 7 working days from the receipt of complete documentation from the Cardmember.
- Upon issuance of the slice Credit Card, the Bank shall provide the Cardholder with a welcome kit comprising the Cardmember Agreement and the Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC), which shall clearly specify the applicable Annual Percentage Rate (APR), fees, and Charges. The MITC shall also be provided at the time of onboarding and each time there is a modification to the terms and shall be sent to the Cardholder’s registered email address.
- The Bank reserves the right to issue any type or variant of Credit Card to the Cardholder, at its sole discretion and in accordance with applicable policies, eligibility criteria, and regulatory guidelines.
- Card activation and delivery
- Upon approval of your slice Credit Card application, a virtual Credit Card shall be issued to you and made available through the Digital Portal for immediate use in online and contactless Merchant transactions.
- Should you wish to receive a physical Credit Card, you will be required to submit a request through the Digital Portal. Upon receiving such a request, the physical Credit Card will be dispatched to your KYC-registered current address, as provided during the application process.
- Activation of either physical or digital cards can be completed through verified customer support channels following stringent authentication measures.
Card Validity, Expiry and Renewal
- Your slice Credit Card is valid up to the last day of the calendar month of the year indicated on the face of the slice Credit Card unless cancelled earlier by the Bank. If you use the slice Credit Card outside the validity period, the Bank shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any consequences that may arise.
- Presently slice Credit Card comes with a seven-year validity. The terms on validity and renewal are subject to revision with notice to the Cardholder. The Bank shall not dispatch any Credit Card to a customer without receiving a valid request through the slice app. In the case of renewal of an existing slice Credit Card, the Cardholder will be provided with an option to decline the renewed card prior to its dispatch. Cardholders must inform the Bank of the decision to discontinue the card renewal 30 days prior to the renewal date. Additionally, if a card is blocked at the request of the Cardmember, a replacement card shall be issued only upon receiving the Cardmember’s explicit consent.
- On expiry, the Credit Card must be destroyed by cutting it in half through the magnetic stripe.
Fees/Charges
- You agree to pay all applicable fees and Charges levied by the Bank, including but not limited to the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), joining fees (if any), annual fees (if any), late payment fees, transaction surCharges and waivers, payment bounce Charges, cash advance, balance transfer, Charges for renewal or replacement fees, duplicate statement Charges, transaction fees on Cash Advances, outstation collection Charges (if any), processing fees, ATM withdrawal Charges, EMI conversion fees, revolving credit Charges transaction surCharges, legal costs (if any), and any other fees or Charges incurred in connection with the slice Credit Card.
- All fees and Charges are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other government taxes as applicable. For comprehensive details, Cardholders are advised to refer to the schedule of Charges as provided on the website of the Bank and MITC as provided during the onboarding process.
- The Bank reserves the right to revise fees and Charges prospectively, with a prior notice of at least 30 (Thirty) days to the Cardmember communicated via SMS, email, or in-app notification. Cardmembers who choose to close their slice Credit Card due to any such change may do so without incurring a closure fee, provided all outstanding dues are paid to the Bank.
- Late payment fees will be levied to the slice Credit Card amount if you fail to pay the Minimum Amount Due as mentioned in the monthly statement by the Payment Due Date. This Fee may vary at the discretion of the Bank and shall be intimated to you as provided in the schedule of Charges and statement provided to the Cardmember.
- The fees and Charges described are non-refundable and subject to change at the discretion of the Bank.
- Disclosure of Charges: The Bank shall display and provide all applicable Charges related to the slice Credit Card in the schedule of Charges and the MITC at the time of Credit Card issuance. Any changes to the Charges will be updated in the schedule of Charges and communicated to Cardholders in advance through email, SMS, and in-app notifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Credit Limit
- The Credit Limit represents the maximum amount of revolving credit sanctioned to the Cardholder by the Bank, at its sole discretion. This limit applies to all transactions conducted through the Credit Card Account and will be prominently displayed on the Bank’s Digital Portal for the Cardholder’s ongoing reference.
- The available Credit Limit at any time is the difference between the assigned Credit Limit and the total outstanding on the Card Account, including all transactions, fees, and Charges.
- The Bank at its sole discretion will determine the Cardmember’s Credit Limit and cash withdrawal limit. The Credit Limit and cash withdrawal limit are communicated at the time of delivery of the Credit Card and are also indicated on the Digital Portal.
- Your Credit Limit will be as stated in the welcome letter issued to you at the time of issuance of the Credit Card and the same can also be accessed via the Digital Portal.
- Use of the slice Credit Card at Merchant Establishment will be limited by the Credit Limit assigned to the Credit Card Account by the Bank. The Total Outstanding Amount in the Card Account must not exceed the Credit Limit at any point of time. In the event of breach of this provision, you will be charged a fee at the prevailing rate irrespective of the amount by which you exceed the Credit Limit. You must repay the excess amount immediately. The above-mentioned fee is subject to change at the sole discretion of the Bank.
- Your Credit Limit and Card Account will be terminated if your slice Credit Card is cancelled. If you fail to make payment of the Minimum Amount Due on or before the Payment Due Date, the Bank reserves the absolute right to withhold the services on the slice Credit Card till such time the payment is made, and the Card Account is regularized.
- In the event you make payment over and above the Total Outstanding Amount as per the monthly statement, you shall not be entitled to any Interest on the said credit balance amount and the same shall be adjusted against the amount due for the ensuing months and will be reflected in the subsequent monthly statements.
- The available Credit Limit will be equivalent to the unutilized value of the approved Credit Limit at any point of time, after taking into account the balance outstanding and any transactions already implemented by you with any Merchant but not received by the Bank for processing as on that date.
- The Bank shall, at its sole discretion, have the right to amend or revise the approved Credit Limit in accordance with its internal policies and risk assessment parameters. Any enhancement in the approved Credit Limit shall be affected only upon obtaining your prior consent. However, the Bank reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reduce the approved Credit Limit and the same shall be notified to you via email/SMS.
- The Bank reserves the right to unconditionally cancel this Credit Limit at any time without prior notice. Additionally, the Bank may automatically cancel or suspend or block this Credit Limit if there is a deterioration in your creditworthiness, in accordance with applicable laws. Such cancellation shall not relieve the Customer of any obligation to repay the amounts drawn or availed under slice Credit Card. Cardmember will be communicated about the cancellation through SMS/Email.
- The Bank reserves the right to terminate the use of the Credit Limit at any time, without prior notice, if deemed necessary for business or security reasons. Such reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following: (i) delay in the payment of outstanding amounts; (ii) usage exceeding the approved Credit Limit; (iii) improper use of the Credit Limit; (iv) submission of misleading or incorrect information or documents during the onboarding process on the Digital Portal to avail the slice Credit Card; (v) failure to provide information or documents as required by applicable laws, including identification documents, in accordance with the Bank’s internal policies or as mandated by applicable laws; or (vi) involvement in any civil litigation or criminal proceedings by any authority, court of law, or professional body.
- To ensure compliance with applicable laws and the Bank’s internal policies, the Bank reserves the right to conduct periodic reviews of the Credit Limit usage. These reviews will aim to identify any instances of excessive utilization beyond the sanctioned limit, unusual or excessive transactions with select Merchants, potential collusion with Merchants, or the use of the Credit Limit for non-personal or business-related purposes. The Bank will also monitor for any misuse or overuse of features, offers, or programs intended to accumulate undue reward points, cashbacks, or other benefits. If the Bank suspects any such irregularities based on the usage patterns, it may take immediate restrictive actions on the Credit Limit. Such actions may include, but are not limited to, the withdrawal of features or benefits and the complete termination or blockage of the Credit Limit. In the event of such actions, it shall be the Customer’s responsibility to provide satisfactory evidence of legitimate usage to have the Credit Limit and associated features or benefits reinstated, at the Bank's discretion. The Bank’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding on the Customer.
Use of card
- The Card may be used only for bona fide personal use i.e. purchase of goods and/ or services for personal purpose/s. You shall not use the card to purchase anything to resell for commercial or business purpose to derive any financial gains.
- The Card must not be used for transactions involving foreign exchange trading, lottery, betting, gambling, cryptocurrencies, or any other virtual currency. These restrictions are based on regulatory rules that may change from time to time, and it is your responsibility to stay informed. If you violate these norms, you may be held liable under the Foreign Exchange Management Act 1999, or other applicable laws.
- You agree and accept that the Bank may, at any time without prior notice, or stating any reason whatsoever refuse authorization for a transaction initiated at a Merchant Establishment and/or restrict or defer your ability to use the Credit Card and/or suspend or cancel the slice Credit Card. The Bank shall have the right to repossess the card if it reasonably believes that it is necessary for proper management of any credit or business risk or if the Credit Card or Card Account is being misused or likely to be misused. In such case, upon a demand made by the Bank, you shall surrender the slice Credit Card in the manner prescribed by the Bank including without limitation through the ATM, Merchant Establishment or at any branches of the Bank.
- Surcharge may be levied certain transactions on Credit Card as notified by the Bank from time to time. Payment of surcharge is mandatory and same may vary from time to time.
- The monthly statement of your slice Credit Card issued to you by the Bank shall be prima-facie the proof of Charges incurred by you. In the event you disagree with any charge/s indicated in the statement, the same should be communicated to the Bank in writing within 30 (thirty) days of the statement date, failing which the Charges in the statement shall be deemed to be accepted by you and you shall be liable to pay the Total Outstanding Amount thereunder to the Bank.
- The Bank will not be responsible if the Merchant Establishment refuses to accept the slice Credit Card or levies a surcharge on the card. However, the Cardmember should immediately notify the Bank of this complaint at the address notified by the Bank from time to time or at the designated customer service centre.
- The Bank shall not be in any way responsible and/or liable for the merchandise, price, rate, quality, warranty, privileges, benefits, facilities including deficiency/delay in services, delivery or non-delivery etc. of the goods/services purchased or availed by you from the Merchant Establishment and/or any third party supplier through any means including any mail order or telephone order or electronic commerce (e.g., internet) placed by you. Any dispute arising thereto should be settled directly by you with the Merchant Establishment/third party suppliers as the case may be and failure to do so will not relieve you of any obligation to the Bank.
- You must pay for the purchase of goods/services as it appears on the statement issued to you, in order to avoid incurring Finance Charges or fees even if the purchase has been cancelled subsequently. credit of refund on account of cancellation will be made to the Card Account (less the cancellation Charges, if applicable) only when it is received by the Bank. If the credit is not shown in the Statement of Account within a reasonable time, you must notify the Bank, immediately.
- You shall not use the slice Credit Card in contravention of laws, rules, regulations and terms and conditions of this Cardholder agreement and in case of any such illegal/ unauthorized use, you undertake to indemnify the Bank and to make good any loss, damage, Interest, conversion, any other financial Charges and outgoing, costs and consequences that the Bank may incur or suffer in this regard and on account of your acts, omission/commission and negligence.
- You agree that goods purchased through the use of the slice Credit Card shall remain the property of the Bank till such time the Charges and outstanding amount pertaining thereto are fully paid by you to the Bank.
- The terms & conditions mentioned in this Cardmember Agreement may be altered by the Bank with 30 days’ notice of the change to the Cardholder. Such changes shall take effect only upon obtaining the Cardmember’s express approval.
Cash Withdrawal
- You may use the slice Credit Card to transfer money to your slice savings account through the Digital Portal, as authorized by the Bank from time to time. Such withdrawals are subject to the applicable cash withdrawal Limit as defined and communicated by the Bank via the Digital Portal or the MITC.
- The Charges for the cash withdrawal viz., transaction Charges, handling Charges etc., will apply as per the Bank’s Schedule of Charges, available on its website and/or the MITC. These Charges may be revised at the Bank’s sole discretion and will accrue from the date of withdrawal until full repayment.
- All cash withdrawals must comply with applicable laws and regulations, and RBI guidelines.
Billing and Settlement
- The Bank shall generate monthly statements showing the record of transactions done by the Cardmember, and/or the payment made and/or credits received. The monthly statement for each Billing Cycle will identify, inter alia, of purchase of goods and/or services, Cash Advances, fees, GST, EMI conversions, UPI transactions linked to the slice Credit Card, balance transfers, refunds rewards, cashbacks, payments and other Charges, and credits to the slice Credit Card Account. The Total Outstanding Amount as well as the Minimum Amount Due required to be paid by you will be calculated and shown in the monthly statement.
- The Minimum Amount Due must be paid by the Cardmember at the end of each Billing Cycle shall and shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Bank. The Cardholder has an option to only pay the Minimum Amount Due as mentioned in the statement and carry forward the payment of the balance amount to the next Billing Cycle.
- Failure to make payment of the Minimum Amount Due by the Payment Due Date as mentioned in the monthly billing statement shall render the Cardholder liable to risk of withdrawal or suspension (whether temporary or permanent) on the Credit Card Account. Further, a fee may also be levied for such non-payment of Minimum Amount Due as well. The Bank may at its sole discretion, also instruct the Merchant Establishments not to honour the Credit Card and / or to take custody of the card, by listing the slice Credit Card Number in the warning bulletin issued by the Bank from time to time or otherwise.
- Any and all payments received towards the Card Account shall be appropriated by the Bank in accordance with its internal accounting and credit guidelines, regardless of any instructions provided by the Cardmember or any other person making the payment. As per the current policy, payments are applied in the following order: (i) fees and other Charges, (ii) Interest, (iii) billed retail transactions, and (iv) unbilled retail transactions. This order of appropriation is subject to change at the sole discretion of the Bank.
- The monthly statements will be sent to the registered email of the Cardholder and available on the Digital Portal of the Bank. The Cardmember agrees to notify the Bank in case of non-receipt or discrepancy in the monthly statement within 30 (thirty) days along with documentary evidence. In case the Cardmember does not notify the Bank of any such event, the statement will be deemed to have been delivered and conclusive.
- In the event that a credit is posted to the slice Credit Card Account due to a refund, failed, or reversed transaction after the Cardholder has already made payment, the Bank shall seek the Cardholder’s explicit consent to adjust any such credit amount exceeding ₹5,000 or 1% of the total Credit Limit, whichever is lower. Consent shall be obtained via email or SMS within seven (7) days of the credit being received. If no response is received within this period, the Bank shall refund the credited amount to the Cardholder’s nominated Bank account. Notwithstanding this threshold, upon receipt of a request from the Cardholder, the Bank shall process the refund of any such credited amount within three (3) working days.
- The Bank will debit the Card Account for all the Charges incurred. The Bank will also credit the Card Account for all payments made by you to the Bank, and also for any credits received from the Merchant Establishments in your favour on account of cancellation or reversal of Charges within seven (7) days.
- Non-receipt of the statement would not affect the Cardholders’ obligations and liabilities under this agreement and the Cardholder shall be liable to settle the outstanding balance on the Credit Card within the Payment Due Date. The Bank will debit the Card Account for all debits received from the Merchant Establishments and Charges incurred, and credit the Card Account for all payments made by the Cardholder to the Bank and for any payment in favor of the Cardholder.
- In case of any default whatsoever, the Bank may apply or appropriate any and all payments received towards the Card Account as per the Bank’s internal accounting and credit guidelines, notwithstanding any instructions or specific appropriation by the Cardholder or other person making the payments
- Cardmembers may obtain a physical statement of slice Credit Card Account upon request by contacting customer service via slice app or creditcard@sliceBank.com.
- List of payment instrument authorised by the Bank towards repayment to slice Credit Card Account:

- Net Banking transfer

- If any payment instrument submitted by the Cardmember is subsequently dishonoured, the Bank reserves the right to suspend or terminate the slice Credit Card privileges at its sole discretion. A fee, as specified in the schedule of Charges, will be levied on the Credit Card Account, and such fees may be revised by the Bank from time to time. The Bank also reserves the right to initiate appropriate legal proceedings, if necessary.
- Cardmembers are advised to exercise due caution and make payments only through payment methods expressly authorised by the Bank. The Bank shall not be held liable for any loss or delay arising from the use of unauthorised payment channels.
slicing Facility
- Usage of the Facility
- The feature allows eligible Cardholders to convert certain transactions into easy monthly instalments (EMIs), helping manage spends more conveniently over time.
- To ensure responsible usage, the slicing option is made available only under specific conditions.
- Cardholders can choose between two repayment tenures — 2 months or 3 months. This gives flexibility to spread out the payment without immediate strain on monthly finances.
- These sliced transactions will not earn “monies”, even if they would have qualified otherwise.
- The Cardholder may exercise the option to convert a transaction into EMIs ("slicing Facility") at the time of initiating the transaction through the Digital Portal. This option shall not be available once the transaction has been successfully completed.
- The final approval for the Facility is subject to the performance on the Cardholder's Credit Card and available credit-limit at the time Bank receives the Cardholder’s request for the Facility and the value of the transaction.
- The Bank has the final discretion to either approve or decline the request for the Facility.
- Certain categories of transactions are not eligible for conversion to EMI view of guidelines issued by RBI from time to time. In pursuance of the said RBI guidelines, the Bank at its sole discretion may decline the Facility on such transactions. The details of these Merchant Category Codes (MCC) can be found in this MITC.
- The credit-limit on the slice Credit Card will be blocked by the amount for which the Facility is granted.
- The Cardholder shall be charged an Interest rate on reducing balance basis or processing fee or a combination of Interest rate and processing fee as specified by the Bank to the Cardholder at the time of availing the Facility.
- Goods and Services Tax will be applicable on processing fee, Interest and foreclosure Charges (if applicable) as per the Government mandate.
- The Facility is available only on slice Credit Cards.
- Choosing EMI option:
- Cardholder can opt for converting an online transaction into EMI, with plans for 2 or 3 months on the Digital Portal.
- Consent given by a Cardholder on the Digital Portal shall be deemed to be request for EMI conversion and the transaction(s) for which the request has/have been made would be converted into EMI within 04 business days in accordance with the tenure and amount filled in by the Cardholder on the Digital Portal.
- Repayment
- The Cardholder shall repay the principal and Interest and related GST Charges thereon in EMIs. The Interest shall be at such rate which has been indicated by the Bank to the Cardholder at the time of making the offer for the Facility and also as communicated to the Cardholder. The Interest calculation will start from the time the transaction has been booked for the Facility. The amount of the EMIs together with other details of the Facility (including rate of Interest) shall be also communicated to the Cardholder at his/her registered e-mail/mailing address.
- The amount of EMI due for a particular month shall subsequently be reflected in the slice Credit Card Statement of Account of that particular month.
- The Cardholder hereby authorises the Bank to debit the Card of the Cardholder on a monthly basis for the amount of EMI due for that particular month, as has been intimated to the Cardholder through the statement.
- Principal and Interest will be mentioned separately in the Statement of Account. The Cardholder shall make payment of the EMI and all other Charges via the Digital Portal and the Credit Limit shall be reinstated to the extent of the amount of EMI repaid by the Cardholder.
- The Cardholder shall be required to pay the entire amount of the EMI for a particular month on the due date, as indicated in the Statement of Account and the same shall not be permitted to be carried forward/included in the next Billing Cycle. In the event the payment is not made by the due date as specified, it shall be construed as a default by the Cardholder and Cardholder shall become liable to pay the amount together with penal Charges as prescribed the Bank.
- Prepayment of Facility
- The Cardholder may close the Facility (prepayment of the entire outstanding amount) at any time by contacting the Bank at help@sliceBank.com to avail the foreclosure. A foreclosure fee if applicable may be charged.
- The Cardholder shall not be permitted to make any partial prepayment of the outstanding amount under the Facility. Any prepayment, if allowed, must be for the entire outstanding amount, subject to the terms and conditions specified herein.
- The Bank shall, without prejudice to all rights and remedies, have the right to call upon the Cardholder to forthwith repay the Facility, all Interest thereon and all other monies in respect of the Facility upon occurrence of event of default in the payment of EMI.
- Cancellation of Facility
- The Cardholder may cancel the Facility by requesting for a cancellation on Digital Portal or by reaching out to the Bank at help@sliceBank.com
- In case of Merchant refund, Cardholders should reach out to the Bank at help@sliceBank.com.
- Particular Covenants
- The Cardholder has understood the Bank's method of calculating EMIs payable.
- The Cardholder has understood that by availing the slicing Facility, the Cardholder shall not be, unless otherwise stated by the Bank in writing, eligible for any reward points awarded under the Bank’s Reward Program.
- The Cardholder shall renew the Card forthwith in the event the period of the Card expires during the tenure of the Facility. In the event of failure of the Cardholder to renew the Card as stated above, Bank shall be entitled to call upon the Cardholder to forthwith repay the Facility without prejudice to all rights and remedies against the Cardholder.
- The Cardholder is deemed to have accepted these slicing Facility terms upon the Cardholder having requested for the Facility.
- Repayment by the Cardmember of the entire amount of the Facility to the Bank shall release the Credit Limit for which the Cardmember is eligible by virtue of holding the slice Credit Card.
- The Cardholder shall make payment of all taxes, duties, levies (including Goods and Services tax) in connection with the Facility.
- Liabilities of the Cardmember
The Bank reserves the right to require the Cardholder to make advance payment of one or more EMIs against grant of the Facility and the Bank shall have the right to adjust the amount of the advance EMIs towards the balance amount of the Facility, at its sole discretion.
- Events of Default
If one or more of the events specified in this Clause (‘Event of Default’) occur or shall have occurred, the Cardholder at the instruction of the Bank shall foreclose the Facility immediately:

- The Cardholder's commission of a breach of any of the slicing Facility terms along with covenants herein contained or having made any misrepresentation to the Bank.
- The Cardholder’s having been declared as an insolvent.
- Any proceedings for misconduct having been initiated against the Cardholder
- The Cardholder’s failure to furnish any information or documents that may be required by the Bank.
- The Cardholder’s entering into any composition scheme with their creditors.
- The Cardholder’s defaulting on any of the terms and conditions of any other loan or Facility provided by the Bank to the Cardholder.
- The existence of any other circumstances which, in the sole opinion of the Bank, risk the Bank's Interest.
- Upon the occurrence of any event of default as specified above, the Bank shall be entitled to exercise rights and remedies available to it under these slicing Facility terms as also the Cardmember agreement and the Mobile Banking Terms.
- In cases where the Cardholder only pays the Minimum Amount Due and not the Total Outstanding Amount, Bank shall not further provide the slicing Facility to the Cardholder at the time of making any further transaction.
Revolving Credit Facility
- Charges on revolving credit are payable at the monthly percentage rate on all Charges, including cash withdrawal, from the date you make the transactions until they are fully paid.
- For purchases, the Charges on revolving of credit accrue only if in cases where the total outstanding or any part thereof payable by the Payment Due Date is not paid in full, and the same is carried forward from the previous Billing Period to next Billing Period.
- Charges on revolving credit, if payable, are debited to the Cardholder’s Card Account on the last date of each statement period and are shown on the card statement.
- Charges on revolving credit are payable on the Cardholder’s Total Outstanding Amount carried forward at the rate defined by the Bank, and as amended by the Bank from time to time.
- The rate of Charges on revolving of credit may differ for certain facilities such as balance transfer Facility, Cash Advances etc., and the Bank shall specify the same from time to time.
- The Charges on revolving credit described above will continue to be payable after termination of this agreement or closure of the Card Account until outstanding on the Card Account is cleared in full. The Bank may at its sole discretion and at any time, under the intimation to the Cardholder, vary the Charges on revolving credit for all or some of its facilities.
Auto Debit Facility
- You may authorize the Bank, through payment mandates like mandate/standing instruction/auto debit/NACH/e-NACH Mandate/autopay introduced by the Reserve Bank of India, to directly debit your account maintained with the Bank or any other Bank, for the payment of amounts due under the statement issued by the Bank for the respective Billing Cycles. If you intend to avail of e-NACH services, you shall comply with the stipulated formalities thereof and agree to the terms and conditions applicable to those services separately.
- In the event of the said Bank account not having sufficient funds on the Payment Due Date, the Cardmember shall be liable to pay all applicable Charges on account of delay, in addition to the Total Outstanding Amount in the slice Credit Card Account.
- Customers shall be given an option to select the maximum amount allowed for auto debit Facility as per applicable laws. Appropriate authentication factors will be taken from the customers while setting up the auto debit Facility. Customers can pause, modify or cancel the auto debit Facility anytime, and these would also entail undertaking appropriate factor of authentication.
slice Credit Card on UPI
- The slice Credit Card may be linked to the Cardholder’s UPI ID for Merchant payments, subject to the Cardholder’s explicit consent, in accordance with guidelines issued by NPCI.
- Usage of the slice Credit Card through UPI shall be governed by applicable transaction limits, Merchant acceptance, and the security protocols prescribed by the Bank and/or NPCI.
- The Bank reserves the right to enable, restrict, suspend, or revoke UPI linkage to the slice Credit Card at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
- All UPI transactions conducted using the linked slice Credit Card will be treated as regular Credit Card transactions and shall be billed to the Card Account in accordance with this Cardmember Agreement.
Lost or stolen cards
- In the event your slice Credit Card is lost, stolen, not received, or is suspected to be used without your authorization, you must immediately report the incident to the Bank. Such notification must be accompanied by a copy of the police complaint or First information Report (FIR), which should be filed prior to or at the time of reporting the loss to the Bank.
- The Bank provides multiple 24x7 channels for reporting loss, theft, or unauthorized use of the card or PIN, including helpline 080-44778250, email creditcard@sliceBank.com and/or via the Digital Portal, Cardmembers are advised to use these channels promptly to ensure timely blocking of the card and to minimize liability.
- Upon receiving notification of a lost, stolen, or compromised card, the Bank shall immediately block the slice Credit Card to prevent further transactions with any required formalities to complete within seven (7) working days of such notification. The Bank shall provide confirmation of the card being blocked to the Cardmember immediately upon successful blocking of card.
- You are responsible for the security of the card and shall take all steps towards ensuring the safekeeping thereof and the Bank shall not in any manner be liable for any misuse of the card. You will fully cooperate with the Bank, the representative of the Bank, and/or legal authorities in the event of an investigation into any disputed transaction.
- In the event you subsequently recover the lost/ stolen card the recovered card must not be used and must be cut into half through the magnetic stripe and returned immediately to the Bank.
- The Bank is not liable or responsible for any transactions incurred on the slice Credit Card Account prior to time of reporting of the loss of the card and the Cardmember will be wholly liable for the same. After the receipt of proper notification of the loss to the Bank, the Cardmember's subsequent liability is zero as per applicable law if notified within the timelines.
- Furthermore, it shall be ensured that any blocking, deactivation, or suspension of a card, or the withdrawal of any benefits associated with the card, is promptly communicated to the Cardholder. The intimation shall include the reasons for such action and be delivered through electronic means (such as SMS or email) and any other available modes of communication
- The Cardmember hereby indemnifies the Bank fully against any liability (civil or criminal), loss, cost, expenses or damages that may arise due to loss or misuse of the card, in the event that it is lost and not reported to the Bank or lost and misused before the Bank is informed.
Termination/Closure of slice Credit Card:
- Cardholders may request closure of their slice Credit Card through multiple channels including helpline 080-44778250 email: creditcard@sliceBank.com, IVR, website or through the Digital Portal. The Bank shall process such requests within seven (7) working days, subject to payment of Total Outstanding Amount along with all the applicable Charges by the Cardmember and the Bank shall confirm closure via SMS or email.
- If a card remains inactive for over one year, the Bank may initiate closure after notifying the Cardholder. In the absence of a response within 30 days, the Credit Card Account will be closed, subject to payment of Total Outstanding Amount along with all the applicable Charges and shall be reported to credit bureaus within 30 days. Any credit balance at the time of closure will be refunded to the Cardholder’s Bank account. The information regarding the closure of slice Credit Card Account shall also accordingly be updated with the CIC within a period of 30 days.
- Failure to activate your slice Credit Card within 30 days of its issuance, the Bank shall give an option to activate the card on a One Time Password (OTP) based consent. If no such consent is received for activating the card, the Credit Card Account shall be closed within 7 working days from the date of seeking confirmation from you. In case of renewed or replaced Credit Card, such closure/ termination shall be subject to payment of all the dues by the Cardholder.
- By the Bank: The Bank can, without assigning any reason or cause or without any notice thereto, terminate this agreement immediately at any time at its discretion, or restrict the use that the Cardmember may make of the slice Credit Card. Whenever the Bank terminates the agreement, the Total Outstanding Amount and all the applicable Charges (including Charges or Cash Advances not yet debited) will become due and payable immediately. The annual fees or Charges levied on the card shall not be refunded or adjusted on a pro rata basis.
- Occurrence of one or more of the following events shall constitute an event of default, and the Bank, at its sole discretion may withdraw the services on the slice Credit Card Facility. The events of default are as under:
- Improper use of the slice Credit Card (in violation of RBI and Foreign Exchange rules).
- You consistently fail to pay any amount due to the Bank within the stipulated period.
- You fail to perform your obligations as per these terms and conditions.
- auto debit Facility / standing instructions delivered to the Bank is not encashed/ acted upon for any reason whatsoever on presentation/being made.
- Any representation made by you proves to be incorrect, false, false/ fraudulent or incomplete including but not limited to income and/or identification paper/document forwarded to the Bank as required under the Know Your customer (KYC)/ Anti Money Laundering (AML)/ Combating the financing of Terrorism (CFT) guidelines.
- Involvement in any civil litigation or criminal offence / proceedings by any authority, court of law or professional body or association.
- Receipt of a directive from any regulatory, legal, or government authority to freeze, block, or suspend the slice Credit Card Account.
- Action taken based on alerts or findings from AML (Anti-Money Laundering) monitoring processes.
- On cancellation of the card, you:
- Must not use the card, cut the card into two halves through the magnetic stripe and return the same to the Bank.
- shall be liable to pay the Total Outstanding Amount whether or not as provide in the statement and all the applicable Charges in the slice Credit Card Account.
- Interest/Finance Charges as applicable notwithstanding the termination/revocation of the Cardmembership.
- You specifically acknowledge that once the Card Account is cancelled/closed and privileges (including all benefits and services) of the Credit Cards stand withdrawn, reinstatement of the same is not automatic and will take place solely at the discretion of the Bank.
- Termination of slice Credit Card Account will be active only when the Bank receives all amounts outstanding in respect of the Card Account.
- The Cardmember acknowledges and agrees that the Bank may transfer, assign, or sell any or all outstanding card dues to a third party of its choosing. Once the Cardmember is notified, the third party will assume all rights as creditor, and the Cardmember must settle dues directly with such party. Any associated costs of such transfer may be debited to the Cardmember’s account without further notice.
PIN/MPIN
- The Cardmember explicitly agrees to take all necessary and appropriate measures to always ensure the safety and security PIN/M-PIN of the card. The Cardmember shall not record the PIN, password, or any security code in any form that may be easily understood, accessed, or misused by any third party, whether such access is obtained lawfully or unlawfully
- The Bank shall exercise the utmost care and diligence when issuing PINs, passwords, or security codes to the Cardmember. The Bank is strictly obligated not to disclose the Cardmember’s PIN, password, or security code to any person other than the Cardmember, under any circumstances.
- If the card or PIN/M-PIN is misused, lost, or falls into the wrong hands, the Cardmember bears full responsibility for any resulting transactions or losses. The Cardmember must indemnify the Bank for any liabilities arising from such incidents and cannot hold the Bank liable for unauthorized, erroneous, or fraudulent use of the card or PIN/M-PIN.
- The Cardmember must immediately report to the Bank if the card or PIN is lost, stolen, suspected to be compromised, or used without authorization. Delay in reporting may increase liability. If a PIN is suspected to be compromised, it must not be used further under any circumstances.
Exclusion of Liability
Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Bank shall be under no liability whatsoever to you in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of:
- The refusal of any person to honor or accept slice Credit Card
- The malfunction of any Electronic Terminal
- The giving of transaction instruction other than by you
- Any statement made by any person requesting the return of the Credit Card or any act performed by any person in conjunction.
- Handing over of the Credit Card by you to anybody other than designated employees of the Bank at the Bank's premises
- The exercise by the Bank of its right to demand and procure the surrender of the Credit Card prior to the card expiry date, whether such demand and surrender made and/or procured by the Bank or by any person or computer terminal.
- The exercise by the Bank of its right to terminate slice Credit Card or the Card Account or
- Any injury caused/ alleged to be caused to you on account of theft/ loss of Credit Card and repossession thereof or owing to the steps taken by you for the recovery/ repossession of the card.
- Refusal by any Merchant /Merchant Establishment to accept/honor the slice Credit Card for the payment transactions.
- Any misstatement, misrepresentation, error or omission in any details disclosed to the Bank by the Cardmember.
- Any other omissions on part of the Bank not covered as per above
Default & Recovery
- In the event of any default by the Cardholder under the terms of this agreement, the Bank reserves the right to exercise any or all of its contractual rights, including suspension or termination of the slice Credit Card services. The Bank may block transactions if any amount due remains unpaid for more than 30 days and may terminate the slice Credit Card Facility in case of continued non-payment or breach of terms.
- Procedure including notice period for reporting a Cardholder as defaulter:
- In the event the Cardholder does not make the payment of the Total Outstanding Amount by the Payment Due Date, the Bank shall give intimation of at least seven (7) days to the Cardholder of its intention to report the Cardholder as defaulter to the Credit Information Companies (“CIC”) authorized by the Reserve Bank of India, in accordance with CIC (Regulation) Act, 2005.
- The Bank reserves its right to report a Cardholder as delinquent to CIC even in an instance of the Cardholder raising a billing dispute which the Bank had clarified as an invalid dispute earlier.
- Non-payment of the outstanding dues of “slice Credit Card” by the Payment Due Date will have the following consequences:
- The Bank shall report on the Cardholder as delinquent to CIC.
- The Bank shall levy late payment Charges, or any other Charges as per the MITC.
- It may lead to temporary or permanent blockage or suspension of functionalities and features/services available on the slice Credit Card as per the Bank’s sole discretion.
- Classification as Special Mention account (“SMA”) or Non-Performing Assets (“NPA”)- In accordance with the regulatory provisions of the RBI, the lenders are required to recognize incipient stress in borrower/Cardholder. The borrower/Cardholder are required to be classified as SMA or NPA basis their repayment behaviors. An illustration of such classification is as below:
If the Minimum Amount Due is not paid by the Cardholder by the Payment Due Date, it may be treated as SMA or NPA as below:

- SMA 0 - If the due date of a loan account is March 31, 2024, and full dues are not received on this date, the account shall be SMA 0 on the day end of March 31, 2024.
- SMA 1 - If it continues to remain overdue, then this account shall get tagged as SMA-1 upon completion of 30 days of being continuously overdue i.e. April 30, 2024.
- SMA 2 - If the account continues to remain, it shall get tagged as SMA-2 upon completion of 60 days of being continuously overdue i.e. May 30, 2024.
- NPA - If the account continues to remain, it shall get classified as NPA upon completion of 90 days of being continuously overdue i.e. June 29, 2024.
As per RBI guidelines, the classification of accounts as NPA is done upon the borrower/Cardholder and not Facility/loan account, and hence, it may be noted that in case of non-payment of dues by the Cardholder in case of any Facility availed from the Bank and consequently the account is to be classified as NPA, all other loan/Credit Card and accounts of the borrower/Cardholder, with the Bank, also shall be classified as NPA and it shall entitle the Bank to recall all such loans/Credit Cards/facilities availed from the Bank, irrespective of regular payment in such accounts.
- Procedure for withdrawal of default report and the period within which the default report would be withdrawn after settlement of dues- If a “slice Credit Card” has been reported as delinquent to the CIC and the Cardholder clears his/her dues, the Bank shall update the same to the CIC within 30 days from the receipts of dues from the Cardholder. Such changes may take 45-60 days to reflect on Cardholder’s credit report.
- In the event of default in making payments as per the statement on or before the Payment Due Date, the Cardholder will be sent payment reminders, SMS, emails, tele-calling, in-app notifications, and/or a engage third party to remind, follow up and collect dues. Any third party appointed shall adhere to the ‘fair practice code and code of conduct of the Bank.
Rewards
monies
- “monies” refers to the proprietary rewards issued by the Bank that the Cardholders may earn through eligible transactions conducted via slice Credit Card either directly or via UPI. monies function as a unified rewards system and are accrued subject to the terms below.
- monies shall be credited at the rate of 1 monies per ₹1 spent on eligible transactions using the slice Credit Card, either directly or via UPI.
- monies shall not accrue for specific categories of transactions, including but not limited to the following. More details can be found in the slice Credit Card MITC.
- Transactions converted into EMIs;
- Wallet loads;
- Fuel, insurance, rental payments, educational fees, taxes, government services, and online gaming/gambling-related spends;
- Transactions classified under excluded Merchant Category Codes (MCCs) which can be found in MITC.
- slice reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude any Cardholder from the monies rewards program, without the obligation to provide prior notice, particularly in cases involving abuse, misuse, or suspected gaming of the rewards system.
- monies accrued may be revoked under the following conditions:
- If the transaction for which monies were credited is subsequently refunded or cancelled;
- If the Cardholder fails to pay their Credit Card bill in full by the Payment Due Date;
- In the event of late or missed bill payments;
- If monies have already been redeemed and subsequently become ineligible due to reversal conditions, the corresponding value may be debited from the Cardholder's subsequent Credit Card bill as a "reward reversal charge."
- Redemption: monies may be redeemed for cash, credited to the Cardholder’s slice savings account. The redemption rate varies depending on the monies balance as per the pre-defined slabs. More details can be found in MITC.
- Expiry of monies
- monies shall expire if not redeemed within three (3) years from the date of issuance.
- In the event the Cardholder voluntarily closes their account with slice, any unredeemed monies shall lapse and be forfeited.
- Rescinding Rewards offer: slice may rescind the rewards offer provided to you in the event of the occurrence of any of the following:
- poses a security risk to the Digital Portal
- could adversely impact the slice’s systems;
- could subject slice to any liability;
- could infringe the Intellectual Property rights of the slice;
- could be fraudulent/illegal/unlawful;
- You are in breach of this terms and/or the Privacy Policy;
- You are in breach of your payment obligations towards slice;
- You have violated or allegedly violated any Applicable Law(s);
- Suspension: slice may, at its sole discretion and on a case-to-case basis, suspend any rewards and may further provide you with a limited time period to rectify the default committed by you. In the event you are unable to rectify the default committed within the given period of time, slice may rescind the rewards offer. However, you agree and acknowledge that the suspension and the subsequent time period for rectifying the default may be allowed by slice purely at its discretion without prejudice to its right to terminate the rewards terms directly to protect the Interests of slice.
- Refusal and disqualification
slice holds the right at their sole discretion to refuse or deny the rewards to any Cardholder. The Cardholder shall become ineligible to participate in this rewards program if his/her slice Credit Card is cancelled or deactivated or is kept on hold before redemption. Further, slice and reserve the right to disqualify any Cardholder from the benefits of the rewards program, if any fraudulent activity is identified as being carried out by the Cardholder for the purpose of availing the benefits under the rewards program. slice reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any Cardholder that tampers with or attempts to violate the terms. slice reserves the absolute right to terminate, withdraw, suspend, amend, extend, modify, add or remove portions of the rewards program at any time without any liability.
Banker's Lien and Set-Off
- In the event of you delaying the payment of Total Outstanding Amounts or being unable to settle your dues on Credit Card as provided in this Cardholder agreement/ the MITC for any reason whatsoever, the Bank may exercise its right of general lien and/or set off and adjust any such outstanding dues against the property or assets (both moveable and immoveable in possession of the Bank from time to time, including but not limited to amounts lying in term deposits and/or in other accounts with any branches of the Bank, property, assets (both moveable and immoveable), securities, stocks, shares, monies, and the like of the primary Cardmember and the add-on Cardmember(s) that are or may be in the possession of the Bank or may come into the possession of the Bank from time to time, irrespective of them or anyone or more of them being held in safe custody by the Bank or otherwise.
Miscellaneous
- Where the Bank acts on good faith in response to any oral or electronic instruction or inquiry by you in respect of any matter in relation to the slice Credit Card, you will not be entitled to claim or allege any loss, damage, liability, expenses etc. attributable directly or indirectly, to any such good faith action of the Bank and you agree to hold the Bank harmless in respect thereof,
- The Bank reserves the right to place a credit or debit freeze on the Cardholder’s slice Credit Card Account, without prior notice, upon receiving instructions from law enforcement agencies, government authorities, or as required under applicable laws, sanctions, or anti-money laundering compliance obligations. Such action may be taken at the sole discretion of the Bank in the Interest of regulatory adherence or risk management.
- Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Cardholder shall not be discharged from their obligations under this Cardholder agreement until all outstanding amounts, Interest, fees, and applicable Charges are fully paid to the Bank. No act of termination, surrender, suspension, or closure of the card shall relieve the Cardholder of any liability incurred prior to such action. The Cardholder shall remain fully liable to the Bank for all dues arising under or in connection with the slice Credit Card.
- Reference to any gender shall include all genders and reference to single number shall include reference to plural number and vice versa in context thereto.
Acceptance
- You have read and understood the entire Cardmember Agreement constituting of all clauses and agree to be bound by all the conditions stated herein
- You accept the terms and conditions and other documents about Credit Card have been explained in the language understood by you and that you have understood the entire meaning of various clauses
- Usages of card indicates acceptance of the terms & conditions laid out in the Cardholder agreement MITC and other documents relating to Credit Cards
- You shall be responsible for regularly reviewing Credit Cardmember Agreement, MITC and other documents relating to slice Credit Cards including any amendments thereto which will be posted on the website of the Bank. You shall be deemed to have accepted such amended terms by continuing the usage of the slice Credit Card.
Governing law and disputes resolution
- This Cardholder agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws. If a dispute arises between you and Bank, our goal is to provide you with a neutral and cost-effective means of resolving the dispute quickly. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to first contact the Bank at 080-44778250 or creditcard@sliceBank.com to try resolving your problem directly with us. If the parties are unable to resolve any dispute amicably within 30 days of the notice of such dispute, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam, India.
- The Bank shall not be liable if any transaction does not fructify or may not be completed or for any failure on part of the Bank to perform any of its obligations under these terms and conditions or those applicable specifically to its services/facilities if performance is prevented, hindered or delayed by a Force Majeure event (defined below) and in such case its obligations shall be suspended for so long as the Force Majeure event continues.
- "Force Majeure Event" means any event due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Bank, including without limitations, unavailability of any communication systems, breach, or virus in the processes or payment or delivery mechanism, sabotage, fire, flood, explosion, acts of god, civil commotion, strikes or industrial action of any kind, riots, insurrection, war, acts of government, computer hacking, unauthorised access to computer data and storage devices, computer crashes, malfunctioning in the computer terminal or the systems getting affected by any malicious, destructive or corrupting code or program, mechanical or technical errors/failures or power shut down, faults or failures in telecommunication etc.
Indemnity and Limitation of Liability
- You agree that you shall indemnify and hold the Bank harmless against all actions, claims, demands, proceedings, losses, damages, costs, Charges and expenses whatsoever which the Bank may at any time incur, sustain, suffer or be put to as a consequence of or by reason of or arising out of providing any of the services or due to any negligence/mistake/misconduct on my part or breach or non-compliance by you of any of the terms relating to any of the services or by reason of the Bank in good faith taking or refusing to take action on any instruction given by you.
- The Bank will not be liable for any connectivity, network or data issues leading to non-completion or wrong/ false/incomplete information being provided by the Customer leading to the incompletion of their application for availing the slice Credit Card Account.
- Under no circumstances the Bank will be liable to the Customer for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages in connection with slice Credit Card.
Grievance Redressal
- Bank has a clearly defined grievance redressal process for speedy and effective redressal of customer grievance. For registering grievances, kindly escalate the complaint/grievance on the Digital Portal of the Bank.
- Any complaint, dispute, or grievance in relation to the Services should be addressed to the Bank, in accordance with the Bank’s Grievance redressal Policy.
- The Bank has maintained a structured three-tier grievance redressal mechanism to ensure timely and effective resolution of Cardholder concerns and complaints.

Modification
- The Bank expressly reserves the right to add, amend, revise, substitute, or withdraw, in whole or in part, any of the terms and conditions, benefits, or features of the card or associated programs, at its sole discretion and with prior intimation to the Cardmember. Any such changes shall be communicated via the Bank’s official website and/or Digital Portal through other permissible modes of communication and shall be deemed binding from the effective date notified therein.
- Such amendments or supplements will be binding on the Customer. Customer usage of new functionalities or features notified or made available will be treated as acceptance of terms and conditions applicable thereof.
Assignment
The Customer agrees and understands that the services provided by the Bank are neither transferable nor assignable to any party.
Compliance with laws
The Customer will solely be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all the applicable laws and regulations in any relevant jurisdiction in connection with establishment of their avings account with the Bank. The Customer agrees to abide by and be bound by all applicable rules/ regulations/ instruction/ guidelines issued by the RBI, the Common Reporting Standards (CRS), FATCA and any other governmental or regulatory authority, in force from time to time.
Entirety of the terms
These terms, which includes along with any agreements, annexures, exhibits, or any additional service terms applicable to slice Credit Card, which are incorporated by reference, constitute the entire terms between the Bank and you regarding the subject matter hereof.
Severability
If any portion of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portion will continue to remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver
If the Bank fails to enforce any part of these terms, it will not be considered a waiver.
Other terms
All other terms and conditions under the Mobile Banking Terms and Privacy Policy including but not limited to intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnities, governing law, jurisdiction and other terms are incorporated herein by reference and will apply to the Cardholder.
